After graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts High School and the Maryland Institute College of Art, Cucillo Constad began working as a motion picture editor, cinematographer, and director. His style leverages traditional photographic and editorial techniques with intimacy and intuition to capture sincerity in the visual depiction of moments. His camera and editorial credits include the documentary film LOST IN WOONSOCKET, which premiered at SXSW, the PBS P.O.V. documentary THE LEARNING, and the experimental documentary EUPHORIA. His most recent film NOTOWN examines Detroit's gentrification and water crisis from the perspective of residents, community leaders, and a U.N. special envoy sent to investigate allegations of human rights violations.
